Walk-Up Food Pantry

Non-perishable food items are put outside of the doorway on North on Main when available Tuesday-Friday. Please contact the chuch office with questions or to make donations.

Interfaith Prayer Vigil

On October 13, 2022, we gathered with the other congregations who worship at Olivet (First Haitian Church of God in Jesus Christ, the Living the Life Christian Center, and Iglesia Immanuel Christiana) for a Prayer Vigil and Service of Remembrance for those who died of gun violence. It was a poignant service which included scripture read in English, in Spanish by Pastor Alejo-Burgos, and in French by Pastor Laloi; contemporary music by Pastor Vereen, Raven Moore, Kevin Guy, and Tahjai Rogers of the Christian Life Center and traditional hymns played by Nick Drabik.

Candles were lit in memory of those who died and prayers offered for their loved ones and those who were affected by gun violence. It is a blessing to come together as Christians to recall those who have died and support those who mourn, trusting in our resurrected Lord.

Gingerbread Houses

Members of Olivet and Pastor Lisa joined Coach Wilson and assistants from Bpt Youth Lacrosse to help young people from the program for a Gingerbread House decorating event.

Blanket Fairy Mission

The Blanket Fairy Mission held a give-away at Olivet. of blankets for foster children and non-perishable items. Members of Olivet and Pastor Lisa joined organizer Lisa Hinton and other helpers to tie blankets for a future event.

Olivet Community Gym

We are very lucky to have one of the only indoor gyms available to groups in the area. The gym is home to may local basketball groups. It’s also provide a space for local cheerleader,colorguards, lacrosse and baseball groups.
