Greetings and welcome to Olivet Congregational Church!
We are grateful that you found your way to our website. We hope it gives you a snapshot of what God is up to here at the corner of North and Main.
Olivet is a small congregation. Our smallness is our “superpower,” allowing us to know each other, pray for one another by name, gather for potlucks and other intimate fellowship opportunities, and remain unified in our service to the local community and wider world. In an era where it is easy to get lost in the crowd or feel disconnected from one another, Olivet is personal and present, humbly seeking to follow Christ together.
Olivet is a welcoming congregation. We strive to welcome all who enter our doors as Christ has welcomed us. In every facet our life and ministry, including membership, baptism, communion, teaching, and leadership, Olivet does not discriminate based on sexual orientation, gender identity, race, economic status, ethnicity, age, or ability. Our life together is enriched by the presence of each person, in the fullness of how God has created them.
Consider this your invitation to visit! Come as you are. We look forward to meeting you.
In Christ,
Rev. Lynn
