Pentecost
We used the woven ribbon table covering that included all our thoughts of gratitude for the first time today. Pastor Lisa also include some pyrotechnics during the scripture. What spark has been ignited in your heart this Pentecost?
Join us for Psalm Series
Join us Wednesday nights via Zoom for discussions around the Psalms. Click here to view this week’s Psalm and those from previous weeks.
We are continuing our Wednesday ZOOM Sessions with a Psalm Series. If you’re still thinking, “That sounds like a great idea, but I don’t have a lot of time to add a lot of reading to my day.” No worries. I invite you to join us for a casual time of reflection over Zoom, Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm.
Don’t be shy. Bring your dinner, dessert, or tea. Together we will read a psalm that is related to our Sunday worship service. We will reflect on that psalm and discuss what it might mean to us. The Psalm of the week will be emailed, posted on website and shared on Zoom screen during our time together.
CWS Hygiene Kits
It was so good to be back together (socially distanced and masked) to work on a mission project- assembling hygiene kits for Church World Service to send to people in need due to natural disasters, violence or poverty. (Click Housekeeping to view photos). Two more stained glass windows in our Fellowship Hall have been repaired. Our magnificent organ recently underwent some repairs and cleaning.

You may be thinking “That sounds like a great idea, but I don’t have a lot of time to add a lot of reading to my day.” No worries. We invite you to join us for a casual time of reflection over Zoom, Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm.

Olivet Annual Meeting
Call to Olivet Congregational Church Annual Meeting.
The Annual Meeting of Olivet Congregational Church will take place Sunday, March 7th 2021 via ZOOM immediately following our worship service. All church members are invited and encouraged to attend to discuss and vote on the 2020 Committee Reports and the Proposed Church Budget for 2021.

Ash Wednesday 2021
While we couldn’t be at Olivet, we were able to be together via Zoom. Rev. Lisa put together packages for us including a piece of burlap with a cross in ashes and 
beans along with the question “What do you wish to grow this Lent?”
